It feels both like it flew by and has taken forever at the same time. This video was pretty difficult to make and release. This video took 3 days to upload. Losing the main camera charger meant I had to figure out how to put a video together using what in my mind was my two accessory cameras, all in all it's not my favourite project but it came out better than I had anticipated. The real challenge has been dealing with the howling winds and poor wifi quality around mexico. For every 5 voice over takes one is decent enough to use (without wind noise or rattling in the background). Even editing colour grading is a challenge with the constant sun. I find myself sitting in the hot truck or closing up the tent, putting a sheet or sweater over myself and the truck to see the screen better. All in all it's going good though, challenging but I'm enjoying it. The U.S. State Department is warning Americans to reconsider their travel to Baja California and other states due to rising incidents of violent crime and kidnapping. The State Department says the Baja California advisory includes Tijuana, Ensenada as well as other locations that are a hot spot for organized crime. The department says transnational criminal organizations compete with each other in the region and violent crime and kidnappings are common. Travelers to the region are recommended to stay on main highways and avoid remote location. According to the State Department, the high number of murders in non-tourist areas of Tijuana remain a major concern. San Felipe, Baja California is located on the western coast of the state along The Gulf of California. San Felipe is known for it’s beaches, fishing, relaxed atmosphere and off-road desert racing! In this Mexico Travel vlog we drive from Ensenada across Baja California to San Felipe where we will show you things to do in San Felipe, take you out to eat some delicious seafood, hike up to a beautiful viewpoint, go off-road racing in The Valley of the Giants and take a trip down to Puertecitos Hot Springs. We visited San Felipe during the winter so it was quite chilly which meant we weren’t able to swim, but it also meant less crowds.
